Mike Triplett says Nick Toon is really big.

With all the talk about defense, we’ve lost track of the fact that there’s only really two set wide receiver spots on the team–Marques Colston and Lance Moore. Joe Morgan will be in the mix too, but basically the depth chart is wide open for the first time since 2006 or so. Sounds like Triplett is high on Nick Toon’s chances of being one of our guys.

A List of Saints Undrafted Free Agents who Will Probably Be Awesome.

The Saints have, as usual, signed a bunch of undrafted free agents. Every year, these guys compete in camp and usually one or two of them become camp superstars, loved by all. Here are the Saints’ 2013 undrafted free agents, and some actual things about them, along with a prediction or fact about them that we’re probably just making up. RB Shawne Alston  This guy didn’t play all that much at West Virginia (because Tavon Austin, we guess) but he’s really big (almost 240 pounds) and strong, which means he’ll probably end up being the new Chris Ivory. NFL DRAFT FASHION REVIEW

The only thing we want Kenny Vaccaro to learn from our current safeties is how to put a suit together. He’s doing okay here, and that tie is an interesting choice, but the jacket is a little 90s. Big man, skinny tie. Let it never be said you can’t pull this off, plus-sized men. But Jonathan Cooper here needs to slide that tie bar down a few inches; it’s way too high. Scott Fujita signed a one-day contract with the Saints…

…and he did it under these circumstances: Fujita, 33, signed his contract provided to him by the Saints in Machu Picchu, located in the Andes Mountains in the Urubamba Valley in Peru, South America. He is accompanying former New Orleans Saints teammate Steve Gleason on an adventure of the fabled Inca tribe in the South American mountains.
